With Registry Mechanic you can safely clean, repair and optimize the Windows® registry with a few simple mouse clicks! This version of Registry Mechanic boasts an improved system optimizer feature which provides a simple interface to access a range of performance enhancing, system monitoring and useful information tools.

- Optimization & Disk defragmentation:
Within the system optimizer feature, Registry Mechanic includes the optimize system feature (from previous versions), along with access to the defragmentation tool. Registry Mechanic provides an easily accessible interface to the Windows Disk Defragmenter tool which optimizes files on your disk for faster access, and improves overall system performance.
- System monitors and other useful information:
Processes – a link to the Windows Task Manager, which displays a user-friendly list of running processes, CPU usage, activity and priority.
Performance – the performance monitor allows you to easily view the total available CPU and memory resources available.
Drive space – clearly displays the amount of used and free space on your hard disk - since running out of space can often be the cause of degradation in computer performance.
System information – displays a complete list of system information such as Computer Name, User Name, Operating System, CPU Speed, RAM (memory), Number of Processors, Printer locations etc.

A Registry Monitor feature

An 'Optimize Your System' feature

I bought this program last year and it kept my registry in tip top shape. Always got the job done, and if, for some reason, that a fix messed something up(almost never though) it has an option that will undo all fixes from the last fix, 2 fixes, or all fixes ago.

I also use every week the Registry Defrag; it’s a very good feature to optimize computer’s performance. The Registry Monitor option allows me to check which programs and what modifies is made to the registry. This feature monitors my computers registry from the start up. I find useful the Optimize System, a feature that patches the registry to improve the speed of the computer.

Registry Mechanic is a must have program for every computer. I am pleased because it has speed up my PC.

Registry Mechanic divides registry errors into categories, offers descriptions for each and shows the importance of repairing them. This data helps you make good decisions, but we feel Registry Mechanic could improve the safety even further by adding a risk analysis to each repair suggestion.
It is a must have for any PC user.
