Then you can browse your music collection on screen, grouped by artist, genre or album, edit the database, update your tags accordingly by using se batch feature or automatic ename files to a consistent format

Catalog your audio files automatically: MP3 Collector scan your harddisk, network or a CD/CD/DVD-ROMs for MP3, OGG, WMA, APE or WAV files. There's no limit to the number of tracks in your MP3 Collector database.

Edit ID3/WMA/APE/OGG tags manually or automatically in batch using information from the catalog. Fill tags automatically by parsing artist, title and album information from folder and filenames.

Renaming your files to a consistent format automatically: if you like your filenames to be consistent, e.g. in the format "01 Artist - Title.mp3", MP3 Collector can help you make it so. The Batch Renamer feature lets you define the file format you want, and then it automatically renames your audio files to that format, using index, artist, title, album and genre information from the database or your tags.

View and search the file collection: View your audio collection as a list with multiple columns, instantly sort your lists on any field (artist, title, bitrate…). Configurable lists, choose which fields to show as columns, automatically group tracks in folders, e.g. by Artist or Genre and search your file database to find a track by title or find all files with a low bitrate…

Print lists of all the tracks in your audio database in any way you want or export your catalog in HTML, for use on your homepage or website, or in XML or text format.
