Anyplace Control is a Windows software that allows you to securely control remote computer and transfer files via the Internet or LAN. The program displays the remote computer's desktop on your local screen and lets you use your mouse and keyboard to control that PC remotely. In other words, with this program you can operate a remote PC just as if you were sitting in front of it, right from where you are, no matter where you actually are.

The built-in File Transfer feature will let you transfer files between the computers. With Anyplace Control, you can restart and shutdown a remote PC, lock a remote mouse or keyboard, and do many other tricky things. The program also includes the remote installation feature, which provides you with the facility to install and configure our program on multiple remote PCs without the need to visit each PC individually. It is so fast and natural that you can at some stage forget that you are working on a remote PC!

Anyplace Control Features

Display remote computer's desktop on your screen in the real time.
Use your own keyboard and mouse to control other PC remotely.
Transfer files to or from remote computer.
Copy text, graphics or other data from one PC and paste them to another.
Turn on, turn off or reboot remote PC, disable remote mouse and keyboard.
Access remote PC behind the router or firewall without any configuring.

How Anyplace Control works

You will need to have at least 2 computers connected to each other through a LAN or connected to the Internet and our software installed on both of the computers. Connection between these computers can be established in two ways:

Direct Connections mode: Access to a remote PC via IP address or DNS name.
Account Connections mode: Access to remote computer over the Internet using an account and nickname. (IP address is not used). This mode allows to bypass firewalls, routers and other obstacles.

After connection you can see the desktop of a remote computer, control it with your local mouse and keyboard, use File Transfer etc.

What to install, and where to install it: The software consists of two modules:

Host Module - must be installed on the computer that you will control.
Admin Module - must be installed on the computer, from where you will control the remote computer.

The installation package contains both modules. You can select the module to be installed during the installation. You can install both modules on the same computer if you want. To install the software, you will generally need to follow these instructions:

Walk to the computer you want to control remotely (Host PC). Download the installation package from our website to that computer and then install the Host Module on that computer.
Go to your own PC (Admin PC). Download the installation package and install the Admin Module on your computer.

If the Host PCs are located within the same LAN as the Admin PC, you will not have to approach each one of them individually to install the Host Module - install the software remotely using the "Remote Installation" feature. This feature is integrated in the Admin Module, and you can run it via the "Tools" menu.

How and Where Anyplace Control Can Be Used?

Work from home, virtual office: Anyplace Control lets you see the office computer screen and work with it at home, just as if you were sitting in front of it. You will be able to access your email, files, programs, and network from anywhere. Leave the office early and finish your work from home!

Accessing your computer while traveling: While traveling, you can use Anyplace Control to access your home or office computer from anywhere in the world, to check and read email on the remote PC, to communicate with your co-workers and family, etc.

Help desk support, remote assistance: Anyplace Control allows you to support your customers remotely. You can connect to customer's desktop and quickly fix any problems on the remote PC. It is an optimal solution for troubleshooting computer problems remotely, via Internet or LAN.

Home networking: Using Anyplace Control, you can simply help your relatives and friends to resolve their computer problems without leaving your home. Our software is an easy way to share files with friends. You can transfer music, photos or documents directly to your friend's computer, without using e-mail.

Network management: Anyplace Control allows a network administrator to manage any remote PCs in a network without leaving his own workplace. Our software is the perfect solution for the remote administration of large networks.

Virtual Private Networks: Anyplace Control can be used as alternative to VPN: computer networks of your company's branches which are located in the same or different towns can be consolidated into one common network. You will have full access to computers of other branch through the secure communication channel provided by Anyplace Control.

Finally I don't have to run down to the office when I need something from he host computer. The installaion was a snap, ook less than 10 minutes. My laptop is now doing what I expected it to be.
